(warning, some blood but I tried to do it so it wouldn't need a MA warning)
My last entry for
's contest. You'll probably recognize Aleria from a few pictures but I haven't drawn her much.
This scene is one of the bonus point challenges from her contest.
Aleria is taken by the dragons and punished for being a half breed, for having a kid that had distilled Dragon blood and for a few other small dragon considered crimes even though she's human mostly. She faced them in her dragon form and took her punishment. They decided to tear her up badly and warned her if she got healed she'd get the same punishment all over again. So basically they shredded her wings, broke off her horns, dragged their claws through her face and pretty much just beat her up and broke what they could. The challenge point is when she turned back human. She was laying with her half mangled legs on the ground, and she tried to push herself up with her forearms since her hands were hurt and ended up letting out an agonized yell and then falling over from loss of blood and pain. Her tore up clothing somehow managed to stay covering her but her husband latter described her back as 'looking like it went through a meat grinder' so she was pretty bad off. Her body would be laced with cuts and scrapes and the most prominent would be the claw shaped slash on the right side of her face that barely missed her eye. That's the point I would love to see drawn, her agonized yell with the dragons behind her in a rocky bowl area around her where there are shelves where dragons sat to watch.Anyway, this has been sitting waiting to be touched up for some....3 months now? It's been floating around my PC mostly finished for a while XD I'm not horribly happy with it, Aleria's pose looks weird and awkward but I'm pretty happy with the rocks (took me 4 hours to do them
) The dragons were fun though.
