Full medium level illustration commission for ~DeviantSH of their character, Melissa Taryll. I had trouble with the colors at first and having her disappear into the background and not stand out, but after 2 background repaints and a lot of redos on the color, I finally got it to where I really liked it and I'm so proud of this! There's probably a total of 70-80 hours of work but it was well worth it! She's such a beautiful character, very exotic and unique and I loved painting the smoke/hair. Hope you like it!

Very interesting setting and beautiful drawn character!
The lightning is very strong and really emphasises the jungle setting and the casting of a spell :D
And the bit blurry background vs. the very focussed foreground gives a lot of depth
It's really awesome ^^
